I recently did a shoot with a good friend of mine Sarah and her husband Preston. They have a little boy named Elijah and he is just the most darling little guy.  Sarah and Preston had a very scary start to Elijah’s life. But in the face of many trials they take each day, one at a time,  and enjoy their little family to the fullest. Smith’s.. thank you for letting me capture this moment in your life:)

So here is a fun fact… Elijah was not in fact reading a children’s book.. he was playing with his dad’s blackberry. You gotta love technology.

I know this little guy and this family inspires me to keep being brave in the face of adversity.  Who has taught you to be brave?
