Bryan, Ohio Wedding Photographer {Marcia Miller|Zach Fisher} soon to be {Mr. and Mrs. Fisher

So I have the great pleasure of being the wedding photographer for my cousin Marcia and her fiance Zach. We decided to meet up and get some engagement shots at my parents house(family affair I know). It is so great to be able to work with someone who you know so well, simply because you immediately break through to getting great candids. Marcia and Zach required very little posing as they were naturals… Gotta love that they did some fun shots with me:)

This next picture brings a whole new meaning to calling your head a “melon”.

Thanks Mom for letting us borrow your chair!

Marcia has the most beautiful eyes! I did very little to them when editing. Had to catch some family shots:) My nephew Graham wanted in with his “best friend” Mural the squirrel.

Hope you enjoy this couple as much as I did. Love you guys and can’t wait to be there when you tie the knot!

So I got to spend my Monday morning with Mary and her daughter. Mary wanted me to capture the fun personality of her little girl, and she def is not short on personality. I love the crazy contrast between the first picture and the second picture. Love it! Hope you enjoy this sweet/daring little girl as much as I did:)

A Tribute to {MOMS}

Aug 20 2011 Published by admin under Blog, Families, Personal

I had a session last week at Riverside Park and with a client of mine and her son. She has 3 children, but she took the time to book a session with her 4 year old little boy. To be honest I have a fear of having all boys. It could be based on the fact that I am in a family of 4 girls and 2 boys. So we women ruled the house (at least I thought we did).  I am blessed to have a mom that I consider one of my best friends, and I want that someday with my own little girl. So back to my fear… I’m afraid that I won’t have that same bond if I have a boy, and in reality I won’t. But this session made me realize that there is just as special of a bond between a mom and her son. The second picture makes me melt.. and I hope that if there are ANY men/boys that read this blog… make sure you still give your mom a kiss on the cheek whenever you see her.  Hope you enjoy this adorable little boy!

Moms are funny too! At least he thinks his mom is funny:)

Precious…

Gotta love that little mug:)

Enjoy your weekend…

Ann Arbor Wedding Photography {JJ|Chris}

So some of your may remember from Jon and Kim’ s wedding that I LOVE Ann Arbor weddings. JJ and Chris were some of the most welcoming people. We truly felt like guests/friends at their wedding. I think everyone (or maybe just me) has thoughts about how they would do their wedding all over again and I would do mine like this couple. They had an intimate ceremony at the church and then went back to their parents beautiful backyard for an outdoor tent reception. Check out some of the images that we captured on their big day.

So as you can see in the bottom two photos this couple’s family was hilarious. Loved em…

Chris’s mom made the cakes! Seriously amazing, and I think that JJ and Chris liked the cake… but you can decide for yourself.

We had such a blast that we wanted to catch a photo of the four of us before we hit the road. Thanks again for an awesome day!

Bowling Green Ohio Wedding Photographer {BRIAN|EMILY}

Aug 16 2011 Published by admin under Blog, Uncategorized, Weddings

I first met Emily when she lived with a friend of mine in college, and I was so pleased that she called me to do her wedding over 4 years later. They were great to work with and I wish them the best!

Phil caught a few shots of the guys just chilling out playing cards while the girls were getting ready.

Gotta Love 1st Looks:)

Off to the Ceremony at Prout Chapel on BGSU’s Campus.

Off to Snook’s Dream Cars for the reception. Great reception venue, packed with vintage cars in the main room.

Emily and Brian decided instead of doing the traditional first dance, to instead play a musical medley that they wrote. They, both being music majors naturally did a great job.

Can’t forget to catch some fantastic dance mooooooves, my personal  favorite is the double point.

This wedding was brought to you by…

Cake: Eston’s Bakery

Venue: Snook’s Dream Cars

Caterer: Glass City Catering

Ceremony: Prout Chapel

DJ: Ultimate Nights DJ

Flowers: Klotz Floral Design
